Hey guys!!! For those who were looking forward to an adventure with Frodo in the Two Towers, I am truly sorry, but I have got a special  request from one of my readers to give a review on this book.

The Parakeet that squawked in English is a book written by the renowned ornithologist, Ranjit Lal. He basically writes books on birds and other wildlife. This book is a collection of short stories revolving around a bunch of Jungle Babblers, magpies, owls, hornbills and many more. The antics they get up to is very entertaining and promise to leave your sides aching.Also, unless you really love birds, you won't read it a second time. 

If you are just reading it for the sake of the story, you'll love it, as it is not slow-moving and easy to understand.

I would give it an 8 out of 10. It is a good read for those who are getting bored or just want to read. 

I mostly recommend this book to kids, as the adults will find it a trifle childish.
